As we’re leaders in our field, we offer a wide range of Utility Arboriculture courses to enable you to specialise in utilities. Our courses are as follows:

Level 3 NPTC UA1 Utility Arboriculture is the first step for people wishing to embark on a career within the utility arboriculture sector, or anyone required to work within the proximity of overhead power lines.

The course includes:

  • NTPC UA1 Assessment
  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • First step for people wanting to embark on a career within the utility arboriculture sector
  • Tends to be one day training and separate assessment day

Level 3 NPTC UA2 Utility Arboriculture is aimed predominantly at those working within or looking to work within the utility arboriculture sector, or people required to carry out any arboricultural or forestry work within the proximity of live overhead power lines

This course includes:

  • NPTC UA2 Assessment
  • Utility Arboriculture
  • Aimed at those working within the utility arboriculture sector (or wishing to)
  • For people required to carry out any arboricultural or forestry work within the proximity of live overhead power lines
  • Two days training an separate assessment day

Level 3 NPTC UA5 Utility Arboriculture is a three day course that is ideal for anyone wanting to progress in the utility arboriculture industry in the role of a surveyor.

  • Course requirements: Completion of UA1 and UA2.1
  • Three days training and 1 day assessment
